Google Drive pricing Slashed

Google Drive slashed their pricing today to take a massive shot at the other cloud storage providers. You can now own 1TB of cloud storage for $9.99 USD per month. This is a huge price cut as it was previously $49.99 per month for this amount of storage. If you need less space, the 100GB plan is now only $1.99 USD per month.

This is clearly Google throwing their weight around taking a shot at other cloud storage providers like Dropbox, Box, and OneDrive. It will be interesting to see whether the others follow suit and drop their pricing as well.

As a photographer this is interesting as you can get access to all of your photos stored on Google Drive from the Google+ photo application on the web and on mobile devices.
