Photography Archive Invasion Project – Week Thirteen

This image was taken around just before Christmas of 2014. We do our own Christmas cards every year which has proven to be an adventure in itself! This was shot against a chroma key green screen, so the background is super easy to remove.

This project allows me to take a mediocre image (at best) from my archive and try to edit it so it looks good. I plan on doing one image a week for now and see how things go. This project forces me to go through all of those old images in my archive and sharpens my editing skills.

I have tried to come up with an original personal project for some time now and believe this is the one for me. If you are a photographer reading this hopefully it inspires you to attempt an original personal project of your own.

Here is the criteria I am using for this project:

  1. The original image must not be from a client shoot
  2. The image must look ok, not great
  3. I only get 10 minutes to edit the image (In one program only)
